Rare. Connected. Understood. Fabry Women’s Retreat in PEI
The Canadian Fabry Association is excited to announce that registration is now open for Rare. Connected. Understood., a Fabry Women’s Retreat taking place in Prince Edward Island from September 25–27, 2026.
Join us for a weekend designed to create space for women affected by Fabry disease to learn, reflect, and connect in a setting where their experiences are recognized and valued.
Through expert-led education, patient-language summaries, wellness activities, and community-building moments, this weekend will offer practical tools, meaningful conversations, and a sense of belonging that extends beyond the event itself.
Registration Details
The registration fee is $100.00 per person.
For eligible confirmed participants, flights, accommodations, and meals during the conference will be covered.
Attendance Criteria for the Women’s Fabry Conference
Due to limited space, attendance will be capped at approximately 60 participants. Registration will be prioritized for individuals who meet one of the following criteria:
- Individuals diagnosed with Fabry disease who identify as women, are biologically female, or whose Fabry care is connected to the female Fabry experience.
- Female spouses or partners of individuals diagnosed with Fabry disease.
- Daughters, age 25 or older, of an individual diagnosed with Fabry disease.
