The CFA is a group of motivated individuals spread through the Canadian provinces who care deeply about the organization's purpose and mission, and strive to ensure Fabry patients live well with their disease.

The Board is responsible for the highest level of decision-making and communicates the organization’s vision to all members and the community. Through policy, the Board defines parameters within which the organization will carry out its work. The CFA demands the time and effort of the Board, and it requires Board members to have intrinsic motives and expects Board members to be team players who are not afraid to take on tasks.
